The unmistakable “Irn-Bru” Class 37 has arrived in OO Gauge with Hornby’s striking RailRoad release of 37422 “Pegasus” in Rail Services / Swietelsky colours. Carrying the bold orange and blue livery that has quickly earned the locomotive its unofficial “Irn-Bru” nickname amongst enthusiasts, this eye-catching Class 37 is guaranteed to stand out on any modern image layout.

Built at Vulcan Foundry in 1965 as D6966, the locomotive later became 37422 under TOPS and has enjoyed a long and varied career across the UK rail network. Now operating for Rail Services, the locomotive received the name “Pegasus” and one of the most talked-about liveries currently on the rails.
